In 2014, Pastor Adam Cupples gathered with 12 people in a metal building just outside Marion, Arkansas, with a clear vision: to start a church that would do whatever it takes to reach people far from God.
What began as a small gathering has become a vibrant, life-giving church where people from every background are finding hope, purpose, and a deeper relationship with Jesus. In just eight years, God led us to purchase 8 acres of land and build our permanent home. Since then, we’ve continued to grow, adding on to our building and launching a campaign to construct a brand-new sanctuary. Our current sanctuary will soon be transformed into a dynamic, kid-focused space designed to meet the needs of the next generation.
But Cross Community has never been about buildings. It’s about the mission: to do whatever it takes to reach those far from God and lead them into a growing relationship with Him. We are a church that is biblically grounded, culturally bold, relentlessly fun, and deeply committed to making disciples. We believe the Gospel should be engaging, relevant, and accessible to everyone.
And this is just the beginning. We believe God is calling us to more—more lives changed, more communities reached, more stories rewritten by the power of Jesus. Our story is still being written, and we believe the next chapter will be even greater than the last. Come be a part of it!
